Oakleaf park is the largest green space in the city itself. It seperates the city from the deepwood forests of the elves, who don't care for humans trespassing. Wildlife passes freely from the park and into the forests, and is protected by the forest's inhabitants. Elves do not allow hunting, trespassing, or logging in their forests, especially not by humans. They also believe that Chimaera are unnatural beings, and do not like to catch them past the park boundaries.
The park itself is well kept, it has several dedicated gardeners. Neatly trimmed flower beds and a large ornamental fishing lake are frequented by the city's rich and glamorous. The park becomes progressively wilder closer to the forests, but its still tame in comparison. There are lots of nooks and crannies to explore here
