The House on Mason Street

Thread turns bright pink and starts spluttering like crazy, "You know, if you were any brighter we could use you as a glow stick." Ribbon said nonchalantly. Thread takes a swipe at him and misses. "We need to get out of here ASAP," Thread said to no one, while trying to regain her composure.

[Song]

Peri and Spero hugged, both terrified. "We have to go!" Upstairs, a heavy thumping began. Spero squeaked, her green eyes bulging.

Drimn growled slightly, he was determined to scare away the intruders. His long tail whipped back and forth, and he stumbled slightly under his large mane of wildly coloured hair. "LEAVE THIS PLACE!!" He yelled, trying to sound manly as he scratched on walls.

Peri goggled up at the ceiling. "What is it?"

Ribbon puffed up his belly and floated up, pushed Drimn off the edge, caught him before he hit the floor and set him gently on the ground, "You're not that tough," he said, and looked very successful.

[Song]

Drimn squeaked as his feet left the ground. He growled at Ribbon.

Ribbon stuck his tongue out at Drimn and then smiled.

Drimn glared and started to growl. "Hush!" Spero stepped on his tail and he yipped, glaring at her.

Elaine came bounding from the shadows and landed on Drimn's back, "BOO!!! Did I scare you?" Ribbon looked at Elaine with one furry brow raised, "Elaintafallio, quiet down before I quiet you myself." He said smiling as he crounched down into an attacking stance.

[Song]

Drimn grinned at his brother and wiggled out from his mother's paw. "Let's go explore upstairs! I think I saw a skeleton!" Spero grimaced. Peri grinned. "Lets do it!"

"YES!!!!" Elaine replied happily and bounded after his brother.

Purple eyes looked out from the darkest corner of the room. Laying with legs pulled under her body, ears pinned against her head and tail carefully curled so as to show none of her lighter colouring or purple she cautiously watched the group in the room. When the white spotted green fencat had appeared Rina had retreated into the corner and watched as more chimaeras joined the first. Very few chimaeras ever came to this house which was why she had choosen this place as her hideout.

Drimn turned back for a moment, green eyes wide and mouth open in an o. He stared into the darkness for a moment, certain he had heard something. Then he kept running.

Aubry slunk out of the darker shadows behind Rina, and padded at her tail "What are they doing here" He growled quietly at her back so he wouldn't come too far into the light.

[aralie]

Rina brushed her tail against Aubry lightly to let him know she had heard him. She pondered over the conversation she had heard between the other chimaera for a minute before quietly growling her answer to Aubry. "I believe I heard that one of them has been having dream of this house. That seems to be the reason why two of them are here. For the rest I am not sure."

"hmph," Aubry snorts quietly, slightly indignant to the fact that there were chimaeras here for no reason at all.

Thread licks Salem's ear, then follows the kits up the stairs.

Drimn tumbled up the stairs, trying not to glance back. At the top, he ran into a shape that glowed slightly. "Watch it!" The figure spun around, growling. The glowing spots were crescents. Spero leapt in front of her son and growled back. "What do you want here?"
