Rina's eyes folllowed the little maenah as he ran upstairs. She saw the glowing figure just seconds before the little one ran into it. Rina immediately recognized Caveo Honor and smirked slightly as he growled at the little one for running into him. When the white and blue Fencat jumped between them growling Rina came half out of her crouch no longer caring about remaining unseen, her lips pulled up and her muzzle wrinkled in a silent snarl. She did not take someone growling at one of her friends lightly.

Caveo glared at the small Fencat. Then he whistled and sat back, looking at her appraisingly. He winked at the shifting shadows down below. Rina was there, along with Aubry. His eyes twinkled. Spero sniffed at him, insulted. "Come along children." She ushered her three kits around the Ryuki, who grinned at her all the while, licking his chops occasionally. Peri followed close behind.

Rina rolled her eyes at Caveo and let her posture mostly relax. She padded quietly out from the shadows and climbed the stairs to stand beside the glowing Ryuki.

Aubry jumped onto her back just before she left the shadows, staying out of reach of everyone on the ground.

Caveo smiled to Rina. "Well hello there, beautiful!" He grinned at her. "Aubry, good to see you poke that face out." His eyes sparkled mischievously. "So, you think they'll leave?"
Spero ushered her kits to the door, almost wondering why she'd bothered to have them in the first place. Drimn dug his paws into the floorboards. "Not leaving!"
"Excuse me? I think we are." She pushed him a little further, then opened the door. Outside, it had somehow become winter. "What the...?!" Peri peeped out. "How long have we been here?"

Rina smiled back at Caveo. "Not for a bit I don't think, it will take time for them to find the correct way out." She responded with a light chuckle.
Feeling the cold breeze coming from the now opened door Rina looked at the group by the door and smirked at the picturesque winter wonderland that the open door revealed.

Aubry snuggled into the scruff of Rina's neck to get away from the cold, "I wish they'd close that door, it is freezing in here now." he muttered into the back of her neck.

Caveo smiled and shook his mane. "See how the young one's have grown up already? Soon, they will stop aging altogether." He stretched luxuriously, and then lumbered over to the door, thumping it shut. "You're better off staying here."
Spero huffed. "I'd rather be out in the cold!" Peri nodded. "Let us out." Sighing, Caveo shook his head, pretending to be disappointed. "Well, you can only leave if you give us one of your kits. It's the law of this house."
Puffing up, Spero threatened to jump Caveo. "You will NE--"
"I'll stay!" Drimn, grinning wickedly, joined Caveo in front of his mother. He was now shoulder to shoulder with the big Maenah. "You can go."

"No." Ribbon said, without hesitation or wavering, he grabbed Drimn by the scruff of the neck and growled at Caveo.
"What is Caveo doing?" Aubry muttered into the scruff of Rina's neck. Aubry was still very young and had very little recollection of how he came to be in this haunted house he called home.
A loud thunk resounded suddenly, and then another, slightly padded but still loud thunk resounded, as everyone looked around Elaine and Mina shook themselves off and Elaine was growling at Mina. "You weren't supposed to land on me, you sack of excrement! That hurt, and I hope you get punished." He bit at Mina's nose, Thread ran over and swung a sheathed paw at the pair of them. "Stop fighting this instant, both of you." They bowed their heads toward their mother in obedience.

Rina gave a slight shrug of her shoulders. She wasn't quite sure what Caveo was doing either. Rina padded over to stand beside Caveo before she yawned widely and closed her jaws with a snap before shaking her head careful not to knock Aubrey off.

"Caveo, just show them out, it's mean asking them to leave their children here." Aubrey chided. Then he licked Rina's fur between her ears and snuggled down to have a light nap.

"Might as well show them the way out if they don't want to stay here." Rina commented to Caveo. "If they continue wandering around here they could get it quite a bit of trouble, and I don't know about you but I don't want them angering some of the others here. That just causes us problems." Her tail twitched angrily at the thought of the problems that could cause.

Adriana came up behind Rina and nipped her tail, "Get them out quickly, the master has awoken because of all this noise."
